In many student apartments, hygiene is conspicuous by its absence, to the point that the unimaginable can be found in pantries and electrical appliances. The tiktoker @nicoalvarezzz_ has once again put this issue on the table with a video in which he explains what some of his friends are storing in the freezer: “it’s surreal. The health worker comes and faints,” he warns before showing anything.
The first find is a kebab loose in the drawer that isn’t even wrapped. To make matters worse, the name of the owner is written on the dough with a black marker, a certain Jaime. And this is not the worst thing that the appliance hides.
In the second drawer they keep a frozen pet. “They had a fish and it died, but they froze it because they grew fond of it. It was called old,” clarifies the tiktoker, who also describes other curious objects on the floor, such as a Luis Enrique air freshener or a letter from some neighbors who complain about noise.
The video, with nearly 60,000 views, accumulates many surprise comments, especially related to the fish. “They froze it because I age it the longer it lasts the better it gets,” says one user. “The rooms must be amazing,” replies another. “This has to be viral now,” many insist.
This type of content goes viral quickly. The proof is that just a few weeks ago another TikTok video about a young man showing his roommates’ fridge achieved great popularity on the social network.
The tiktoker shows the products one by one, starting with a spilled milk on one of the shelves, which has solidified. He continues with some dried carrots: “they’re good for your eyes, but if you eat this you’ll go blind,” he says. He also finds a moldy tomato stuck in the drawer and some avocados that have become hollow from how dry they are. “I didn’t even know avocados could get like this,” says one of the comments on the video.
He ends up showing a béchamel sauce and a moldy vegetable preserve, as well as a yogurt that smells of blue cheese. The clip accumulates 585,000 views and is the third in a series of videos that show the exaggerated dirt on this floor.
