This October, Julian is the place to be if you want to experience all the fall festivities and activities that come with the season. The Julian Autumn Jubilee is a fall festival held at Fort Cross Old Timey Adventures in Santa Ysabel every weekend until Oct. 27, and it’s a popular event that locals look forward to year after year.

General admission to the festival is just $10 per person and includes the opportunity to pick your own apples and pumpkins. But if you want to participate in all the fun fall activities, there are two different packages to choose from.

The Festival Activity Package, priced at $25, includes a variety of activities such as reptile interactions, a hayride, cider pressing demonstration, a hoedown and Jug Band show, petting zoo, candle dipping, and painting crafts. Children under the age of 4 can accompany a paying adult for free with this package.

For those looking for more adventure, there’s the Adventure Package for $20, which includes unlimited archery, tomahawk throwing, and a slingshot gallery. The same rules apply for children under 4, and reservations are recommended due to limited availability.

In addition to the festival, Fort Cross will also be hosting special evenings for some spooky fun with their Haunted Harvest event. For $30, attendees can enjoy an after-dark hayride with a ghost story about the property and have the chance to walk through the dark woods. Reservations are required for this event.

If you’re in search of some fall fun, make your way to Julian for the Julian Autumn Jubilee. It’s a great opportunity to embrace the season and create lasting memories with family and friends. Don’t miss out on all the activities and festive atmosphere that this annual event has to offer.
