The Mas i Mas festival celebrated its closing party this Saturday with a heartfelt tribute to the Zeleste room that put two formations on the tables of the Paral·lel 62 room that revived for a few hours the daring and innovative music of the Ona Laietana with the presence of some of its protagonists on stage.

The night opened with La guitarra lirica by Jordi Bonell, a tribute concert to the founder of the Secta Sònica group in 1975, performed by a line-up of friends and musicians who have played alongside him throughout his career, among the that included Carles Benavent, Ramón Olivares, Perico Sambeat or Carme Canela.

Next, it was the turn of the Barcelona Art Orchestra, which, under the direction of Joan Albert Amargós, carried out a journey through Laietana music, interpreting songs by the Mirasol Orchestra, Urban Music, Blai Tritono, Jordi Sabatés or Iceberg, among others. groups that went through the historic venue on Argenteria street, designed by Víctor Jou. The orchestra had the collaboration of Carles Benavent and Xavier Batllés. The presence of Toti Soler was also expected, who finally could not attend due to illness.

With this concert the twentieth edition of Mas i Mas came to an end, which throughout the month of August has programmed more than 160 concerts in Barcelona, ??with the Jamboree venue in Plaça Reial as its focal point.
