A massive influx of public is expected to attend one of the events marked in red on the Fallas calendar. Once again, the celebration of the festivities has filled the city with tourists and visitors who enjoy these days of Fallas that have been recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

La Nit del Foc, translated as the Night of Fire, is one of the most anticipated and spectacular nights of the Valencia Fallas. It is celebrated every year on March 18, on the eve of Saint Joseph’s Day, patron saint of the city and the culminating date of the Fallas festivals. This magical night is a tribute to fire, a manifestation of the passion and creativity that permeates every corner of the celebrations.

This spectacle should coincide with the end of the Offering of Flowers to the Virgin that has been celebrated since Sunday in a city immersed in the Fallas festival. However, and as could be seen on the first of the days, when the arrival of the Fallera Mayor Infantil was delayed several hours.

Today, starting at 3:30 p.m., the Offering to the Virgin resumes after on Sunday nearly 60,000 falleros will place their carnations on the cadafal of the Mare de Déu.
