Pepe Jiménez is a nutritionist and online trainer who likes to travel a lot. In fact, he was going around Spain with his camper van, but previously he spent some time in Australia. From there he posted a video on his TikTok account where he revealed the salary he received in a week of work.
For the 33 hours he worked as a waiter, Jiménez earned $986; that is, 877.75 euros. Instead, his partner Joe, who was also in the video, was paid $1,300 ($1,157.28) for 42 hours a week of work.
That weekly salary invites you to emigrate to Australia to go to work, but as several TikTok users pointed out in the comments on the video, the cost of living is high. “A bottle of water costs 7 euros,” recalled a tiktoker.
Although some users pointed out that what is not explained is the high cost of food. “Yes, but then a bottle of water costs you 7 euros,” said one user. “A haircut costs $200,” added another.
So given the doubts that this experience was a fairy tale that would allow them to earn a good sum of money and save for the future, Jiménez published a new video in which he explained what he saved weekly with the pace of life he led.
Between the rent, the food, the gym and the maintenance of the mobile line, he had a weekly cost of 370 dollars (329.38 euros). Thus, monthly he could save between 1,570 and 2,280 euros as detailed by Jiménez himself.
