A video published by the Twitter account for animal lovers, @dodo, has gone viral after showing an incredible scene, in which a group of friends rescues two piglets that had escaped from an industrial farm truck.
Shivani and Charlotte learned the tragic story of Diamond and Dani, two little pigs who had jumped out of a truck in search of a second chance. Faced with this vulnerable situation, the girls decided to take them to a sanctuary to offer them a better life.
The video shows how the young women collect the animals destined for Rosie’s Farm Sanctuary, thus embarking on an adventure. Along the way, they make a stop at a roadside hotel, where they sneak the piglets in without being discovered.
“Things are getting out of hand. Sunshine has started and Dani has followed along” they confess while the piggies turn the hotel room upside down. In order to improve the journey, the young women visit a pet store where they buy jackets for their new little companions.
After hundreds of kilometers, the young women arrive at Rosie’s Farm Sanctuary, in Maryland (USA) where the pigs meet Michele, the woman who will be in charge of giving them a dignified life.
In a matter of days, the video has gone viral, accumulating more than 100 thousand views and all kinds of reactions from users who have been moved by hearing this story: “I want to hug these 2 girls for giving the gift of life to these 2 little pigs.
