A family from Utah (United States) has experienced a surreal situation. The Clarks accidentally sent their cat, little Galena, in a package; Fortunately, they recovered it after a week.
The family sent the feline more than a thousand kilometers away through a package that they returned to Amazon. The cat was able to survive a week in the box until she was detected by a worker from Jeff Bezos’ company.
After discovering Galena inside the package, the Amazon worker took her to the vet, and thanks to the chip she was able to contact her family. As expected, the Clarks had been looking for the cat in the neighborhood for days.
This incredible news made the family take a flight to Los Angeles (California) with one goal in mind: recover their pet. It was Brandy, the Amazon worker, who was in charge of providing a home for the cat until her owners arrived.
The family still doesn’t know how they didn’t realize Galena had slipped into the package, which is why they now check every package they mail “up to three times.” As for the cat, she is in good health thanks to a crack in the box that allowed oxygen to pass through.
