William Levy responds to his ex-wife: "I have made many mistakes, but so has she"

The personal life of actor William Levy has become one of the main focuses of press attention in recent weeks. It all began with the separation of his partner of the last 20 years, Elisabeth Guitérrez. From there, the controversies began to appear in dribs and drabs, from the video in which her ex-colleague caught him at home with another woman to the accusations of impregnating a girl and forcing her to have an abortion.

In the face of so much cross information, the Cuban has broken his silence and responded forcefully, particularly to his current situation with Gutiérrez. It was through an interview with Ana María Alvarado, host of the program Sale el sol on the Mexican network Imagen Televisión. The two had a conversation for about an hour without cameras, backstage, where Levy expressed himself in depth.

“I spoke with him for almost an hour, very friendly. He told me, ‘you can comment that I spoke with you, but I am not going to give interviews to you, or to anyone else because I don’t want to end up speaking badly about the mother of my children because I am angry. I admit to having made many mistakes over 20 years, but it is a relationship of two, she also made her mistakes… Many things have not been said publicly. You know only part of it. And now only what she said,’” she expressed.

“For my children, because she is the mother of my children, I am not going to say anything and I will endure the attacks,” Levy insisted, confirming that she would keep her privacy intact after this interview. The actor also had a talk with People en Español magazine, particularly after the controversial situation in which his daughter and his partner wanted to enter the house, accusing him of having a “woman locked inside.” The authorities had had to go to his house up to four times due to “domestic disturbances.”

“After a month and a half (after moving in), Elizabeth, Kailey and the cousins ??come to the house, saying that I have a woman inside. They break the door to see if anyone is inside. If she had been with someone, she was living alone. It’s my house, I was alone. Kailey breaks the door, I don’t know what’s going on. “I didn’t push her, I put my hand so that it wouldn’t happen,” she said, providing her version of the events that took place on March 2.

“He kicked the door with his two cousins, and I told them ‘don’t come in, this is my room, this is my privacy and you’re not going to come in with your cousins.’ They cannot pass here, this is my room, my privacy,” she added. The People en Español communication team indicated that she had tried to contact Isabel Gutiérrez and her representatives, with the intention of obtaining statements in this regard. Neither of the two parties spoke out.
