In recent years facial mists have become very fashionable. In summer, many prescribers carry this beauty product in their bags that helps soothe, hydrate and revitalize the skin anywhere and at any time of the day, especially when on vacation.

In no case should you stop applying moisturizer and sunscreen, but rather it is a product that complements the daily facial routine. As explained from Charlotte Tilbury, the firm of the favorite makeup artist of Hollywood stars, facial mists “are designed to be easily applied to the face and are usually reinforced with super-powerful skin care ingredients that help hydrate, refresh and revitalize it. Mists are a forgotten category of skin care, however, they are a fantastic way to take care of your skin morning, night and wherever you are”.

The British brand has just launched its own facial mist, Charlotte’s Magic Hydrator Mist (42 euros), which provides instant hydration to malnourished and dehydrated skin to maintain a youthful, radiant and much smoother appearance. The makeup artist and businesswoman says that to create this moisturizing and oxygenating mist she was inspired by the effects of oxygen facials to achieve that luminous skin. The product, which leaves the face twice as hydrated after one hour of application, is formulated with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, two ingredients that cannot be missing from the care routine since they help to better hydrate and reduce the appearance of pores.

Applying the product is very easy. It can be used on a clean face, before the cream, to achieve extra hydration, as well as to set makeup. But its most common use is as a refreshing moisturizer and revitalizer after spending hours away from home and when skin is dull. Just spray on the face, with your eyes closed, and get a renewed skin in just a few seconds.

In the beauty market there are several mists that are highly valued, such as Always AN Optimist 4-In-1 Mist from Rare Beauty (31.99 euros). Selena Gomez’s firm has for sale an ultra-fine mist designed to illuminate, hydrate, prepare, settle and refresh the skin. Created from a botanical combination of lotus, gardenia and white water lily, it helps soothe and calm the skin. Niacinamide and sodium hyaluronate also provide an appearance of greater softness and volume.

Another product is the facial spray of aloe vera, aromatic plants and rose water by Mario Badescu (9.99 euros). Helps revitalize dehydrated skin to give it a radiant glow thanks to its formulation enriched with thyme and rose.

Another low cost mist that is not lacking in the handbags of the prescribers is the Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist (21.99 euros), light and moisturizing that creates an invisible layer of soothing treatment on the skin. It is formulated with anti-inflammatory ingredients to show off redness-free, glowing skin.

Ariana Grande’s firm also triumphs with Mist thing by Rem Beauty (24.99 euros), an ultrafine mist that helps soothe the skin thanks to its natural lavender oil, also known for its antioxidant defense against free radicals.

Finally, M·A·C sweeps with Fix Magic Radiance (32 euros), a new product that helps hydrate and nourish the skin throughout the day. Thanks to its new formulation, with hyaluronic acid, essential oils and vitamin C, it leaves the skin instantly hydrated, bright and radiant.
