Among the standout looks were those of Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and Sarah Ferguson, who looked elegant dressed in green. In the case of the Queen, 76, she looked spectacular in a bright green dress, which she combined with a matching hat, as well as high black suede boots and a black handbag.
On the other hand, Princess Anne also opted for the traditional hue, symbolizing “new beginnings,” wearing a herringbone coat with a matching feather-trimmed hat. Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, opted for a bolder tone of the spring color, wearing a boucle dress with black heels, which she accessorized with a pair of black gloves, a black floral headband and gold jewelry.
For their part, the biggest absence has been that of the Princes of Wales and their family. The couple did not attend the event, which took place just over a week after Kate Middleton published an emotional message in a video in which she revealed that she had begun preventive chemotherapy treatment. Precisely, Kate always tends to be a draw when it comes to outfits. In previous editions, she has respected the dress color code for this day.
Both she, Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are the big absences this Sunday. The family is resting and spending the Easter holidays together as they adjust to Kate’s diagnosis, which was discovered after abdominal surgery she underwent earlier this year.
