Who is Jordi Martín, the paparazzi on whom Piqué has requested a restraining order?

This Wednesday, Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía will face off with Jordi Martín, a well-known paparazzi who they have denounced, assuring that they feel harassed and persecuted. For this reason, the couple has requested a restraining order so that the photojournalist cannot approach them within 3,000 meters.

In their complaint, the couple assures that on May 4 at noon Jordi Martín accessed a private area, specifically a parking lot, to take pictures of them. Martín’s defense denies this point, since he points out that he has always done his job legally. Starting at 12:00 noon, both parties will meet in front of a judge who will decide which arguments he hears.

Jordi Martín is one of the best-known paparazzi of the tabloids in Spain. This photojournalist has collaborated with programs such as Sálvame, Socialité or Cazamariposas.

Throughout his long career, Martín has starred in more than one run-in with celebrities. One of the most remembered was with David Bustamante, a case that also ended up before the police, as it led to physical aggression, in this case from the photographer to the singer, although the journalist also claimed to have received damage.

In fact, another of his most notable clashes was with Piqué himself, who charged against the Catalan via Twitter with a hard: “Leave drugs. Cocaine is very screwed up.”

In recent months, Martín has been in the news again after publishing the first photograph in which Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía appear together. In addition, the paparazzi also brought to light the infidelity of the soccer player with the singer Shakira through other images.

Since then, Jordi Martín has earned the label of being one of the Colombian singer’s trusted journalists. In this sense, the photographer also published that Piqué’s father had allegedly thrown the interpreter out of the house, something that the ex-soccer player’s family has denied.

This wayward photojournalist rose to fame in the reality show promoted by Sálvame, Sálvame Snow Week, from which he ended up being expelled for disciplinary reasons. Before, he had already been involved in some controversy with the Telecinco space, threatening some of his collaborators with revealing compromising information about them.

Far from his professional facet, Jordi Martín describes himself as a lover of sports and traveling.
