The actress Ana García Obregón has once again put the debate around surrogacy on the table after resorting to this route to become a mother at 68 years of age.

The biologist has been hiding for months that she would become a mother through a surrogate in Miami, United States. After the magazine Hello! discover the artist’s maternity and take it on the cover in her latest issue, the issue has become a matter of national debate.

Tamara Gorro, collaborator of the Y Ahora, Sonsoles program, has attended the space presented by Sonsoles Ónega to demystify surrogacy and tell about her experience using this practice. Tamara tried to be a mother through various medical treatments, but finally opted for a surrogate to have her first child. ”I went shopping with my pregnant woman, it was all very natural,” she recounted as she narrated that she signed a guarantee contract with an agency.

Gorro wanted to make it clear that every woman is free to altruistically lend her uterus to those who cannot be parents naturally and explained that it is a process that has all kinds of guarantees. In addition, Tamara has affirmed that many people are making mistakes in her speech, since when she resorts to this route, the mother is not the one who is pregnant: ”The mother is me and she is the pregnant woman”.

Tamara Gorro is always surrounded by controversy. Her intervention in the Antena 3 program has caused a great reaction on social networks, where hundreds of users have criticized her for ‘buying a baby’.

”Surrogacy is buying children and mom’s friend does it because she needs money, sweetie”, ”At this rate with a catalog and everything the color of skin, eyes, etc… as if it were a toy exchange will be involved”, or ”The surrogate is the MOTHER”, among others.
