The return of the Summer Grand Prix to television is getting closer. After many years of rumors about his return, this 2023 it has finally been confirmed that TVE recovers the summer contest from Europroducciones, owner of the format, 18 years after its last broadcast on La 1.

The intention of the public entity with the Grand Prix is to combine some elements already known in its previous stages with other totally new ones. For this reason, Ramón García will once again lead a program that he already presented in his most remembered period, between 1995 and 2005, and he will be joined by two other presenters whose identity Vertele has known exclusively: Cristinini and Michelle Calvó.

The first of them is one of the best-known streamers in the world today, a bet in line with TVE’s intention to include video game tests in the program. Cristinini, in addition to being a content creator on the Twitch platform, she already has extensive experience on television, where she has been part of programs such as Zapeando or the new format that she will present on HBO Max, Time Zone.

Along with her and Ramontxu will also be the actress Michelle Calvó, known for playing two roles in series such as Amar es para siempre or Desaparecidos, among other productions. Like Cristinini, Calvó also has charts in purely television formats and, just like the streamer, she has been part of Zapeando as a collaborator.

Both in the case of Cristinini and Michelle Calvó, these are two young and unusual faces on television with whom TVE will try to make the new Grand Prix attract the younger population.

To the classic tests of the format, such as the Crazy Trunks or the Hot Potato, new competitions related not only to video games, but also to social networks or virtual reality will be added. Finally, the mythical heifer from the original Grand Prix will be replaced by a super heifer, a costume that will wear a member of each team and that will work as a wild card.
