The audience of MasterChef Celebrity on TVE has experienced an exciting return after last week’s break due to the Latin Grammy gala. The eighth edition of the program has entered a decisive phase: the semifinal.
In this last installment, Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, Blanca Romero, Daniel Illescas, Toñi Moreno and Laura Londoño faced a unique culinary test in the kitchens with the visit of their families in a challenge that promised to be one of the most emotional to date .
But before they got into the kitchen, the five contestants had the opportunity to watch a video in which they received the support of their families. And Toñi Moreno, upon seeing the emotional message from her daughter Lola, wanted to speak openly about her motherhood, which was late and alone.
The Cádiz presenter shared intimate details of her pregnancy, describing it as a period full of both physical and emotional challenges. “I had a regular pregnancy. For many reasons. Physically it was very hard and emotionally I had the worst moment of my life. I felt very alone,” the presenter confessed.
During this time, his main support was his “chosen family”, made up of close friends who became his support network. This non-traditional family included Juan Carlos and his best friend Fabi, with whom he shares a house and a deep friendship, something that many people fail to understand.
Moreno also spoke of her desire to raise her daughter in an environment of freedom, so that she can decide for herself who she is and what she likes. This approach is based on Moreno’s own experience, that she needed years to accept herself due to her social prejudices. “It took me 20 years to tell myself the truth because I said it can’t be, that’s a sin,” the presenter explained.
Finally, just before receiving Juan Carlos’s invaluable help in the first test, the presenter expressed the unconditional love she feels for her daughter, describing it as her greatest achievement: “You are my prize. It is the most important thing I have done in my life”.
