Giorgio Armani and The Italian Sea Group first announced their collaboration on March 30, 2021. Even so, on February 11 they reported that the design and construction of the 72-meter-long Admiral motor yacht will not be completed until 2024. .

This Admiral 72 yacht is the first of two designed entirely by Giorgio Armani, whose unmistakable style is immediately recognizable in both the exterior lines and the refined interiors. Timeless minimalism, which has always been part of the designer’s creative philosophy, redefines the very essence of the high-end megayacht concept in radical yet elegant ways, based on the principles of simplicity and sophistication.

Giorgio Armani is known for designing a wide range of garments that are characterized by their elegant, sophisticated and minimalist style. In his collections, garments such as the impeccably cut suit stand out, which is known for its soft and elegant line and its perfect fit. We can observe these characteristics in both the exterior and interior design of the luxurious yacht.

The exterior design stands out for its large geometric and sharp volumes that balance perfectly with the curved and smooth shapes of some sides, thus maintaining its minimalist and sophisticated style. Armani is known for his use of neutral colors such as grey, black, white and beige, colors that he has also used for the exterior of the yacht. Despite sticking to neutral and clean tones, he wanted to add one more hue, gold. This color gives a more glamorous and luxurious character to the facade of the boat.

The images provided by The Italian Sea Group and Giorgio Armani reveal some of the ostentatious facilities that the ship will have. From an outdoor pool, to rectangular beige sofas that make up a very chic chill out next to the views provided by the upper deck of the ship.

The duo also revealed through photographs that the interior of the yacht will have other exclusive services such as a large living room and a gym. Its entire interior is harmonized with raw tones that combine perfectly with the wood of the furniture, together with the small details in gold that bring more light and glamor to the environment.
