Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre, the members of the Amaral duo, will be especially remembered at the Sonora de Ribera del Duero festival. There they performed on August 12 in front of more than 35,000 people, with whom they celebrated their musical journey and presented the first song from their new album.
At one point in the performance, Eva Amaral, before starting the next song, as a sign of support for Rocío Saiz, Zahara, Rigoberta and Bebe and all the women said: “Because no one can take away the dignity of our nakedness and our fortress” and immediately removed the top of the outfit she was wearing, exposing her breasts.
The vindictive act provoked shouts of emotion among the assistants. “Because there are too many of us and they will not be able to ignore the life that we want to inherit, where I am not afraid to say what I think,” he assured, quoting part of the song “Revolución” that he was about to sing.
The words and act of Eva Amaral not only generated a flood of reactions among those attending the concert and the followers of the duo, but also among some celebrities. One of the most notorious reactions has been that of Damián Mollá, a collaborator of El Hormiguero, who commented on Twitter: “I am especially happy for the bald man from Amaral, who has finally been able to see them.”
Another familiar face that Amaral’s breasts did not leave indifferent was Isabel Rábago. The Galician journalist has recounted furiously in The summer program: “what right has she gained by showing her tits? I do not get it. We continue to have the same rights and obligations, nothing more.” In addition, she added that “I would have missed that women with a public image, like her, would have taken out their breasts in the face of so many things that we have experienced in recent times.”
