Bebe Rexha has managed to become, over time, one of the most internationally recognized artists. Since her solo debut in 2013 she has released tracks like Me, Myself

The American was performing a concert on the roof of Pier 17 in New York when the impact of a mobile on her head caused her to collapse live. One of her fans decided to throw her phone at her, so badly that she ended up crashing into her face, opening a gap in one of her eyebrows. Now, the singer has decided to show how her face has been after the accident.

With a completely black eye and three stitches in her eyebrow, Bebe Rexha has shown on her Instagram account how the mobile that flew towards her has left her face. “I’m fine,” she confirmed herself.

As published by the Pop Cave portal, the singer had to be attended quickly by the team members and they decided to cancel the performance and transfer her to the hospital due to the seriousness of the situation. In a video published by one of the attendees at the concert, the singer can be seen receiving the impact of the phone and falling to the ground without being able to do anything else.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, the initial investigation determined that it was “a 27-year-old man” who “intentionally threw his phone.” Nicolas Malvagna, from New Jersey, is the alleged attacker of the singer and was prosecuted a few hours after the event.

On him already fall “two charges of assault in the third degree, one charge of harassment in the second degree” and another of aggravated harassment in the second degree. In addition, in his record he also has another “charge of attempted assault in the third degree.”

Although he has not yet been convicted, Malvagna admitted to doing so on purpose. “I was trying to see if he could hit her with the phone at the end of the program because it would be fun,” the alleged attacker confessed, according to the aforementioned outlet.

Although a serious accident has occurred this time, many concertgoers tend to throw things onto the stage. Something that, as in this case, could become very dangerous for artists. Harry Styles suffered a similar mishap when he received the impact of a stone in his eye by a fan at one of his concerts.
