How many times have we been locked in the car while, without understanding exactly why, we were stopped in the middle of the road without being able to reach the destination. In La La Land, Damien Chazelle imagined this everyday horror in the key of a musical number with Another day of sun and now, from Prime Video, creator Rodrigo Sopeña will try to tell with Atasco the intimate stories inside each vehicle.
Atasco, which arrives on the Amazon content platform on May 24, plans to tell a different and independent story in each episode. As a preview, Prime Video has already released the promotional trailer:
The independent stories allow it to have a stellar television cast that includes Edu Soto, María León, Antonio Resines, Ana Wagener, Arturo Valls, Luisa Gavasa, Silma López, Carmen Ruiz, Toni Acosta, Roberto Álamo, Jorge Sanz, Anabel Alonso, Pedro Casablanc, Iván Massagué, José Mota, Elena Ballesteros, Gonzalo de Castro, Álex García, Fele Martínez, Henar Álvarez and Manuel Manquiña among others.
Sopeña, known for his work in La Hora de José Mota, Sin Novedade, LOL: Si Te Ries, Peras or Me Resbala, also intends to take advantage of the anthology format to tell “unexpected, comical and emotional plots” in the 6 episodes of 25 minutes that make up the first season.
