A new installment of MasterChef has landed on La 1 de TVE. On this occasion, the program has landed in one of the white towns of Cádiz, Vejer de la Frontera, where judges and applicants have met the Fundación Montenmedio Contemporánea, the most important open-air contemporary art museum in southern Europe.
The elimination test has been carried out by the flavors of the most mysterious Japan. The applicants have had to prepare a dish with a Japanese flavor, which includes some preparation where the Koji mushroom is present.
Far from celebrating her birthday in a festive way, Ana has experienced one of her worst shows on MasterChef. The captaincy of the red team has come in handy for the Sevillian waitress: “I am very overwhelmed”, the birthday girl assured.
“The tears are from frustration because I would have liked to do things well in my first captaincy and things don’t always turn out the way you want. I am a very perfectionist person, I like to do things well and there have been many impediments. I can’t take it anymore” , the 30-year-old has commented through tears.
For his part, Jordi Cruz has tried to cheer up Ana on her birthday without much success: “Don’t worry, I’ll help you do the captaincy”, the member of the jury told him. However, the Sevillian repeated over and over again that she can’t take it anymore and that she “is ready to go to bed.”
The test has not gone as the young woman expected and she has had one of her most bitter birthdays: “I feel strong and proud of who I am even though today I could not have shown what I have inside, I am going to get it out,” Ana assured through tears to the chambers of culinary talent.
For its part, the Masterchef jury has been very clear regarding the captaincy of the young woman on the day of her 30th birthday: “You have not been a good captaincy today; there has been a lack of determination, security, confidence…”, he told her Jordi Cruz to a visibly downcast Ana.
“I have felt quite overwhelmed. I have tried to reach everything and I have reached what I could”, the visibly sad young applicant has justified herself.
