Dani Alves’ alleged sexual assault on a young woman continues to take its toll on the footballer, who has seen in recent days how the Prosecutor’s Office has prevented his provisional release. Despite this new setback, Alves’ defense does not give up and he has presented an extensive document with a video to try to prove the defendant’s innocence.
With the case still open, the journalist Nacho Abad has had access to one of the existing tapes, recorded directly by the security cameras of the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona, ​​where the rape allegedly took place. “In the disco there are seven cameras that record everything,” Abad began by explaining in the En boca de todos program, by Cuatro.
“There are approximately 25 or 26 hours of recordings that the magistrate has on the table right now, from different angles,” the journalist assured, despite the fact that Alves and the complainant were only “three and a half hours” in the inside the enclosure.
After contextualizing the distribution of the spaces within the club, Nacho Abad has gone on to tell everything he has been able to visualize. “The girls start dancing, there are three of them, and at a certain moment a waiter approaches them and invites them to the area where Dani Alves is,” he explained. In the opinion of the investigative journalist, “if she did not consent, my reaction would have been to push her away and say ‘don’t touch my ass’, and I don’t see that,” he assured. This action was repeated a second time, and there could have been a third in the words of Abad. “She touches her ass and she grabs him by the waist,” he said in relation to the young woman’s possible consent.
After these events, Dani Alves spoke to the girl again, who “voluntarily went to the bathroom a few seconds later” according to Nacho Abad. From the toilet “Alves comes out first; then one of her friends comes out, and you can see how they shake hands”, but without any contact with the complainant. “They do not speak and, at a certain moment, the girl leaves with her friend outside of her, they start talking and she is seen crying,” continued Abad.
