Often when someone uses a transportation service like a taxi or Uber, they prefer a smooth ride. Normally drivers talk to their customers to try to liven up the wait in the back seats and give an additional incentive to their work. However, on certain occasions, this can play into your thing and create the most unpleasant situations. And that is what Andrea Garte has gone through in the last few hours.
The influencer and founder of the shoe brand Myagleet shared an uncomfortable Uber ride yesterday through her Instagram account. The Valencian was going to a hotel to prepare an event for the Yves Rocher brand when the driver of her vehicle tried to talk to her. However, they were not the typical questions of daily life or current affairs, but direct romantic innuendos to the streamer.
“You have a very Latino face, very pretty,” was the first of several comments that the man behind the wheel gave Garte. At all times, the tiktoker kept a smile and laughed thanks, but she details in the text that accompanies the Instagram story, she was simply hiding. “Awkward moment today where I play nice because I’m in the car with a man I don’t know who I’m paying to take me to the hotel. Weird…”, wrote the influencer.
Garte arrived at his hotel without major difficulties, but he took the opportunity to publish two additional stories, detailing his opinion regarding what had just happened. The Valencian assured that she was not the first person to whom something of this nature had happened, and she reiterated her position of being nice during the journey. She simply preferred to pretend because she did not know the driver at all and simply wanted to reach her destination.
In the second publication, she insisted that it was not a matter of age either, but the discomfort that being told things of this style can cause her. Garte would prefer, in some cases, to opt for direct confrontation so as not to drag problems of this caliber back. The reactions on social networks were on the side of the influencer, in addition to leaving various reflections on the matter.
“Do you realize that they only stop bothering us when they see that there is another man involved? Guy, since there is already another macho in the middle, I am going to leave his female alone in case something happens ”, commented a user on Twitter after seeing the Instagram posts. The most positive part is that, after this incident, the founder of Myagleet once again used an Uber to transport her from the hotel, this time without consequences.
It is not the first time that Andrea Garte has been involved in some unusual situation. The latest precedent dates from March, when the personality on social networks had a problem in a restaurant in Milan because of the service. According to his networks, a waiter refused to change their food when they brought different dishes and gave them two alternatives: either eat it or leave the restaurant.
