The end of the year has brought with it family dinners, celebrations and events throughout Spain, as usual. And the controversies that are generated with some of them and that do not take long to reach the press are also common. Since last Saturday, more than five thousand people, according to the Civil Guard, have been gathered at a clandestine party in Murcia.

A massive rave that takes place in the Fuente Álamo circuit, a town with 16,000 inhabitants and where almost 15,000 people are expected to attend. Given this, Paco Ballesta, a reporter for Vamos a ver, did not hesitate to stop by the place, without expecting that everything was going to end in the most tense way possible.

The reporter was talking calmly with one of the attendees and the moment he decided to show the tents, everything exploded into the air. “Out, out!” a young woman began to exclaim. “They are my rights. I don’t want you to record me,” said another.

Given this, the journalist told his camera partner not to stop recording, since they were live. “If you don’t want me to record you, don’t get in front of the camera, little girl. We’re not bothering anyone. We’re calm. We’re live. Can you put the camera down, please?” he expressed to those present.

And the reporter did not hesitate to confront all of them to make it clear that he was only doing his job: “We are not bothering anyone. Respect, right? Isn’t this the celebration of freedom?” However, one of the attendees made it clear that what they were doing was not freedom, but control, telling what they wanted to tell.

“Don’t you understand that this image harms you? If you act naturally… But let’s see, don’t touch me, kid, eh. Don’t touch me, kid!”, expressed Paco Ballesta. With this situation out of control, the program host had no choice but to cut the connection.

“Paco, let’s have the party in peace. Let’s let Paco rest because he deserves a break to talk to these people,” they said from the set. “There is nothing that bothers me more than those who raise the flag of freedom, not letting others work,” added the presenter.

Minutes later, the journalist reconnected live to ensure that everything was fine and to give way to another assistant who wanted to apologize for what happened. Even so, he wanted to point out that the media has given “a negative view of rave” and that is why there has been this tension.
