The tense scuffle between Pipi Estrada and Alejandra Rubio: "I don't have as much free time as you do"

Alejandra Rubio has found herself in the eye of an unexpected hurricane after the death of her grandmother, María Teresa Campos. The young journalist, who regularly collaborates with different Telecinco programs, was the victim of a multitude of criticism on social networks after the management of her grief. Returning to work two days after the presenter’s death and posting a video dancing in the rain filled her social networks with negative messages.

The trend has continued in a similar way this past weekend, being the protagonist of a confrontation on the Fiesta program. Rubio has argued with his set partner Pipi Estrada, in relation to some comments about the funeral of the veteran communicator. The Asturian journalist has criticized the ceremony held in Malaga on September 25, launching two attacks against Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego.

“Doing gratuitous harm to people is not my thing. I do not care. Not everyone can like you, the only thing Pipi does is talk bad about my family. I don’t have as much free time as you. I have not talked about my grandmother’s illness and I am not going to. I don’t know the conspiracy that exists towards my family, it’s tiring, it’s always the same. Whenever my family does something wrong, what do you want me to say about it? Nothing. “It doesn’t matter to me,” Rubio explained.

His reply has found immediate support in Kike Calleja, who has called the sports journalist a “hypocrite.” In addition, Emma García also gave her a call of attention after her words: “I don’t know if they sell or don’t sell, but there is one thing that remains and that is that insult to Terelu and Carmen Borrego. There are things that are unnecessary.” Likewise, she has left a small comment of support for her partner on the Mediaset program.

“They have done it very well, they have been there, they have spoken to the media, despite the pain they have, they have done it as well as they could. Alejandra could have been there or not. Each one decides whether to be there or not. “She listens to all the criticism and respects it,” responded the Fiesta presenter. Some words with which she tried to dissipate the tension formed on the set, and which were also related to the Campos family’s way of getting by in the media.

Since the funeral was held in Malaga last week, the family has chosen not to mention the matter again, despite the fact that criticism for some actions and movements on social networks accumulates day after day. In the case of Pipi Estrada, it is worth highlighting the relationship that she had with Terelu Campos between 2003 and 2006, ending in very bad ways after the Gijón native attended the funeral of the father of her ex-wife, Teresa Viera.
