TAG Heuer’s revolutionary Diamant d’Avant-Garde technology enabled the Swiss watch brand to use for the first time, in 2022, lab-grown diamonds on a chronograph case, crown, dial and indices.

Now, the brand led by Frédéric Arnault goes one step further with its cutting-edge Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technology, setting a new industry benchmark by adding lab-grown diamonds to the bezel and bracelet of this exclusive timepiece. with personalized and creative shapes.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the TAG Heuer Carrera in 2023, a milestone in the brand’s history, it was logical to once again choose its flagship collection to express TAG Heuer’s constant avant-garde spirit and commitment to innovation. And this is how this disruptive TAG Heuer Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde Chronograph Tourbillon was born, a matt black chronograph that replicates the characteristic features of the TAG Heuer Carrera, with its highly legible bicompax dial, its bevelled lugs, its sporty elegance , its reliability and its timeless spirit.

With a design that combines the most advanced technique with a daring style and extraordinary finishes, lab diamonds shine in its 44-millimeter case, bezel and bracelet, which are made of grained and anodized black aluminum.

The case features 4.3 total carats in 48 lab-grown diamonds, while the bezel features 26 totaling 1.9 carats, and the bracelet contains 34 totaling 1.9 carats. Also impressive is the watch’s high-end movement, the Caliber Heuer 02 Tourbillon Nanograph. Developed and manufactured in-house by TAG Heuer, the COSC-certified chronograph movement features a tourbillon positioned at six o’clock that displays its heartbeat from within the dial. It offers an outstanding power reserve of 65 hours.

This special edition has been finished by hand and features an oscillating weight in the shape of the TAG Heuer shield. Thanks to its exclusive carbon nanotube hairspring, it offers exceptional levels of antimagnetism, shock resistance, stability in all temperature ranges and a refined geometry for excellent chronometric performance. Only a limited number of copies will be produced with this exclusive design, available upon request. But we will have to wait: the first model will not be marketed before September, at a price of 500,000 Swiss francs.
