I’m Georgina has just released its second season on Netflix, after the success of the first. Throughout this reality show, Georgina Rodríguez travels the world showing the luxurious life that she leads as a model and influencer. The one who is Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, she faces this new installment with a harsh event as the common thread: the death of her son Ángel during childbirth.
But before explaining her feelings about her traumatic experience, she herself is in charge of telling, along with images, her last months of pregnancy. A period that she faced with enthusiasm and openly when it came to showing how she was living her experience. Marked by funny anecdotes, in the last weeks before the delivery, Georgina was focused on the room of her future babies.
Two and a half months before the birth, Georgina invites her “dear” friends, including her sister, to her house in Manchester to help her with one of the most important things for her: the nursery for her babies. . After traveling on the influencer’s private plane, the group arrives at the mansion shared by the model and the soccer player to get down to business.
“I wanted to do something special and what better than with my best friends,” says Georgina. “And along the way they learn about everything that is needed for motherhood,” she adds. The model also confesses that she feels a little lonely in Manchester because she has not yet been able to form a circle of friends in the English city.
Before starting with the final assembly of the baby’s room, “the darlings” have prepared a fun game: fortune cookies. “It smells like the host of the church when you take communion,” says Georgina when opening her cookie. In it, it is written that “patience is the key to success”, something that the influencer does not seem to have developed very well. “I have a lot of patience to raise my children, but I am very impatient when it comes to wanting something, I want it yesterday,” she confesses.
Between games and gifts, one of these friends offers her a trinket, to which Georgina replies that sugar during pregnancy doesn’t suit her at all. “Are you also going down the tubes? Do millionaire people also shit?”, they ask. “Yes, and a lot,” she replies between laughs.
“I am open-minded,” Georgina confesses when referring to her desire to go to the bathroom. “It’s that people have a lot of modesty when it comes to talking about farts, poop… you have to normalize all these situations,” she concludes. One of the aspects that the model highlights the most about her is her sense of humor and her desire to spend time with her family and friends, something that is evident in this new installment.
