The Latin Grammy 2023 held in Seville and broadcast last Thursday on TVE brought together the best national and international artists. Rosalía’s performance covering Rocío Jurado and hers Se nos roto el amor opened a gala full of good music and, above all, award winners and speeches on stage.
One of the guests was Lola Índigo, who left a shocking revelation when the El Intermedio reporter wanted to interview her. For the first time, the former triumph confessed the surprising bond that unites her with Wyoming, the presenter of La Sexta. Something no one saw coming.
Lola Índigo attended the Latin Grammy 2023 with a most original look. It was a purple dress by designer Nicolás Montenegro inspired by Holy Week in Seville. A nod that is due to how much the singer likes Holy Week for the concepts of penitence and humility. According to the former triumph, with her styling “she wanted to represent Seville and Andalusia.”
But of course, the outfit was not the easiest to wear with almost four meters of train, a circumstance that Isma Juárez, a reporter from El Intermedio, took advantage of to be able to briefly interview the artist.
During the talk, Lola Ídigo had a lot of humor when she was asked if she would talk to any other renowned singer about doing a collaboration. “It depends on how drunk I am,” she said, laughing. Suddenly, she looked at the reporter’s microphone to find out which program her statements were for and, when she realized that she was El Intermedio, the singer was supremely happy for her.
“Who presents this? Wyoming? For all I know, I thought they had changed you…” she said. “I send you a kiss,” she addressed the camera to send the message to the presenter. And then came the revelation of the night: “He was my landlord before. Wyoming, I love you. I didn’t have any kind of problem. Recommendation.” A personal bond between the two that no one could imagine.
