The April Fair in Seville just started a few days ago, and it is already leaving all kinds of great television moments. Given the relevance of the event at a national level, all the chains have mobilized their teams to account for everything that happens in the Seville city, which will be the focus of attention over the next few days.

This is the case, for example, of Antena 3 Noticias. The information services of the Atresmedia channel traveled to Seville last Sunday to cover the start of the Fair, led by its reporter Ana Gómez. Still in the news summary, the journalist was preparing to go live when a person suddenly burst into the shot.

“The local economic impact is expected to be more than 900 million euros,” Matías Prats recounted from the set to introduce his partner, who was at street level in the booths of the April Fair. Without the presenter finishing taking the step, the spontaneous appeared making a face at the camera.

Gómez reacted quickly by raising his arm to remove him from the shot as soon as possible, making the man barely on screen for a second and beginning his story as if nothing had happened. In fact, not even Prats came to notice his appearance.

The moment has been widely commented on social networks, where the cut went viral in just a few hours. “As a future information professional, I am ashamed that, today, the work of journalists is not respected,” wrote the TikTok user who shared the fragment, adding that his only intention is “to tell the information of the best way possible.”

The reactions in the social network have been the most varied. Some of them defend the journalist’s actions (“Totally agree; a lot of strength if something like that touches you”), while many others consider that this has been disproportionate (“It’s okay because she wants to go out; I think she lacked tact to the reporter”).
