María del Carmen Martínez-Villaseñor Barrasa, better known by the artistic name of ‘Mari Carmen and her dolls’, has died at the age of 80 at her home in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.
The veteran artist has died due to a tragic fall down the stairs of her home. Her followers, her family and friends have mourned her unexpected death on social networks, where they have remembered some of the best moments of the comedian together with Doña Rogelia, Rodolfo, Daisy…
Many people around her continue to assimilate the loss of the artist, since, despite being of considerable age, she was physically very well and had a vital and warlike attitude.
Among dedications and public farewells, we can highlight the publication that one of his most faithful and loyal friends has uploaded: José Manuel Parada. The communicator has lamented the death of the comedian on his Instagram account and has written some very heartfelt words: ”How alone are your dolls, dear and unforgettable friend and your son Miguel. We will all miss you. (…) What a pleasure to have worked with you. (…) Kisses to heaven and don’t forget me like I DO YOU. I only have the consolation that you left without suffering.
According to the ex-husband of Chelo García Cortés, the artist’s son is devastated after the domestic accident that his mother suffered and that cost her her life. Miguel Almanzor is the only child that ‘Mari Carmen and her dolls’ had, the result of her marriage to the lawyer Manuel Almanzor, whom he married civilly on June 19, 1980 and divorced, years later.
In an interview for La Razón, the legendary humorist revealed that she was very lucky to have a son like Miguel because “he is unique”: “We are partners in everything. Very complicit. We go hand in hand even in tasks that sometimes , they are not from mother or son. We love each other and we need each other”. Shortly after, in a report for Pronto magazine, Parada’s friend confessed that her son had a “very funny” touch and that from time to time he had done a show for him, but that “he is far from show business ”.
A few months ago, the Espejo Público program prepared a report on luxury rentals in Spain and more specifically in Madrid. In said piece, the artist’s son came out talking about the family property that he had available for rent at a price of 15,000 euros per month.
Miguel Almanzor narrated in the program presented by Susanna Griso that “investing in brick today is still a great idea” and that he rented out said space because it was the best way to get a return on it.
Almanzor assured in the Antena 3 piece that reforming the family home and renting it out as a business was one of the best decisions of his life, since it is a sure way to earn money, especially with a property like his.
The house that the young man showed has a large area and is equipped with all kinds of luxuries. In addition, the residence stands out for the presence of open spaces, as well as a large grand entrance and an incredible garden with a pool in which any family would be happy.
The rental of the house costs about 500 euros per day. The price is so high because the home has 520 square meters, 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a garage for 4 cars, a 1,600 square meter plot, a swimming pool and a library.
