The death of María Teresa Campos has left the media orphans of the so-called “queen of the mornings”. The journalist she died last Tuesday morning at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation in Madrid, at the age of 82, after more than half a decade working in the world of radio and television. Her goodbye has not only shocked her family and her colleagues, but also figures who were interviewed by the presenter at some point.

One of the names that have been spoken in the last hours has been Dani Martín, the singer and former leader of the band El Canto del Loco. The man from Madrid shared an emotional farewell message on his Instagram profile along with a photograph, in which he and the Andalusian communicator shared a chat during their transition stage to a solo career. The publication has caught the attention of his granddaughter, Alejandra Rubio, who has responded to the show of affection.

“What I liked the most about you was your temperament, it made you really in this world, sometimes so superficial. You said what you thought without filters. When El Canto del Loco ended and doubts surfaced in many, who were already changing the color of the carpet quickly, spotting the bump that would give me with that first solo album, you opened the doors of your window for me to go there to sing in I played a song that nobody knew at the time, ‘Mi lamento’”, he explained.

“I will never forget. You have filled our childhoods, adolescence, youth and maturity with communication for many generations, María Teresa, you have played the game several times, much respect, much, much love, Starlite, what a happy time, your sofa in the photo, I hope many many María Teresas with that passion and that temperament, that she had it, that’s why she was unique. I remember you with a smile. Bon voyage, boss! I love you! ”, Concluded her letter.

As we have previously commented, the granddaughter of María Teresa Campos, Alejandra Rubio, has been one of the first to react. The influencer, who also shared a letter with her followers to say goodbye to her grandmother, has shown her gratitude to the Spanish singer: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your words.” Along with her, other users and prominent figures have left her comments, in a publication that exceeds 73,000 likes.
