Kiko Matamoros has brought out all his artillery against the Campos clan and does not plan to take his foot off the accelerator in his crusade against her. However, Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego have preferred not to get involved so as not to give the collaborator the opportunity to continue releasing information against them.
Despite the strong accusations, the Campos have chosen to keep a low profile. During a recent outing in Madrid, both were questioned by journalists about Matamoros’ comments, but decided not to pay attention to the statements publicly.
Carmen Borrego, despite everything, did answer, although only to make it clear that she did not want to be part of this game: “Really, I’ll pass.” This phrase perfectly summarized the position of both sisters of not fueling the controversy with Matamoros, who now have no impediment to say what they think.
The confrontation began in the new program Ni que fuerámos Shhh, where Matamoros has not hesitated to express his discontent with Terelu Campos and her daughter Alejandra Rubio, who have shown an obvious approach to Makoke, his ex-wife.
This movement seemed especially despicable to him. “What has happened hurts me, what I understand as a disgusting betrayal,” declared Matamoros. Furthermore, he pointed out that Alejandra Rubio’s change of attitude was due to opportunistic reasons.
Thus, the relationship between Matamoros and the Campos, which in other times included happy moments such as Matamoros’ wedding with Marta López Álamo, in which both Campos were guests, now seems irreparable.
Matamoros has been especially hard on the youngest of the family, whom he criticized for her bad beginnings on television. He even called it a “firecracker.” Aware of her much-discussed vulnerability, Matamoros made special efforts to protect her. However, he granted her that she has known how to maintain herself: “she was very young and being on a television set is not easy and many people do not achieve it despite being the daughter of …”.
The collaborator has not been the only one who has criticized the position of the two sisters. The rest of the team, such as María Patiño, Belén Esteban and Lydia Lozano, also showed their disapproval that neither one nor the other picked up the phone to wish them good luck in this new adventure.
