Pablo Motos has become the absolute protagonist of the week. The presenter of El Hormiguero was criticized by some comedians such as Facu Díaz or Bob Pop, who have stated that the Motos team has tried to censor some jokes or ask for explanations about the jokes made about him.
A new controversy, to which Pablo Motos has turned a deaf ear, while the comedians have been supported by other colleagues in the profession. Comments outside of M otos, who continues to defend “freedom of expression”, as long as it is his own, as other comedians point out.
In the midst of all this controversy, the TV3 Polònia comedy program has decided to take advantage and release what is probably one of the best parodies that have been made on the program. In this new sketch, you can see ‘Pablo Motos’, complaining about the limits of humor in a comical reflection.
“Nowadays we can’t laugh at anything anymore,” says the actor who plays Pablo Motos. “Before, a comedian could make jokes about homosexuals, about gangsters… but not anymore. And if you do, you’ll also get a cigar bigger than Jennifer Lopez’s ass,” he says, making the peculiar ants that laugh. They accompany him.
“Nowadays, making a politically incorrect joke is like going to a Chinese restaurant dressed as Snoopy. They will eat you alive,” he adds.
Later, the presenter even confronts his editors, asking for “respect for certain minorities” such as the “collective of short red-haired presenters with Greek god abs.”
Not convinced at all, the person in charge of production asks her what she is going to do, call her so they can “warn” her; to which he responds that “I never call, the ants do,” she finishes, and then the editor receives a warning call.
A sketch that has caused a sensation among the program’s viewers, who applaud the performance of the actor who plays Motos, but also warn: this sketch could be expensive.
The Valencian presenter was already the protagonist of one of the most popular parodies of the program. In 2022, Motos became the most offended presenter on television due to his comments against the Ministry of Equality announcement. Some clear opinions, but they led him to become a member of the Carcastreet Boys of Polònia; who did not hesitate to take advantage of the controversy.
To the rhythm of the unmistakable I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys, Motos joined other famous people to sing, among other lines: “I am not a sexist or a feminist. I don’t see labels, only your tits” or “I only see your insides.” “Are you wearing a thong or culottes?”
