If there is something on television that has gained special strength in the afternoons nationwide, it is the series and soap operas broadcast by the different television networks. And one of the channels that has put all its effort into these fictions is TVE. Spanish Television has managed to convince the audience to be totally hooked on the adventures and misadventures of The Promise.
However, fans of this series will have to wait next Tuesday to find out how it continues because RTVE has canceled its broadcast on Monday due to a sporting event. With this, viewers will have to wait until tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. to see what will happen to the inhabitants of the palace in the Los Pedroches valley.
On the one hand, the network has decided this April 29 to broadcast Rafa Nadal’s tennis match against the Argentine Pedro Cachín. An event that will take place on the occasion of the 2024 Mutua Madrid Tennis Open and that will begin around 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon, which makes the broadcast of the fiction impossible.
On the other hand, it will not be the only day this week that The Promise will not be able to offer a new chapter. On Wednesday, on the occasion of May 1, Labor Day, which is a holiday throughout Spain, TVE has decided that a new episode of this series will not be broadcast either. In its place will be the movie A Matter of Time.
With these changes, only three episodes will air this week: 346, this Tuesday, 347, on Thursday, and 348, on Friday. Even so, the official X (Twitter) account of the soap opera calls on viewers to enjoy “all the episodes available on RTVE Play” to catch up. With this, fiction fans will be able to continue, in some way, with their usual afternoon.
