This diagnosis was the reason why William did not attend the church service in Windsor last month due to a “personal matter.”
Despite the difficult news, Kate issued a video where she claimed to be “well and stronger every day.” She and Guillermo are spending time processing the news and reassuring their children, George, Charlotte and Louis. Additionally, she sent a message of support to others facing cancer, urging them to maintain hope and faith in their full recovery.
The palace was unable to provide details on when Kate’s chemotherapy treatment will end. Kate’s abdominal surgery took place at the London Clinic on January 16, Kensington Palace previously confirmed. Her absence has since spawned various conspiracy theories, but it is now understood that she was focused on her medical treatment.
The revelation of Kate’s cancer diagnosis comes amid an investigation into three London Clinic workers for allegedly attempting to hack into Kate’s medical records. Hospital officials have declined to confirm details about the investigation, including whether anyone was suspended or whether private information was accessed.
