Primark has presented this week its new website in Spain. The Irish chain has incorporated improvements to offer customers a much more effective navigation, with important innovations that will improve their shopping experience in their face-to-face stores but not online, where sales have not yet been activated.

The website presents a renewed design that shows the latest Primark collections, including the one just launched with Paula Echevarría. Users can find clothing, accessories, beauty products, lifestyle products and objects for the home that follow the trends of the season.

The main novelty, one of the most demanded by customers, is that now it will be possible to check if the desired item is in stock at the nearest store. “We know our customers love coming to our stores, but now we want to make it easier for them to see what’s in store by displaying a much wider selection of our products online and thus create a closer relationship with our customers. This it will allow them to browse and check stock availability at their nearest store before they visit in order to further improve their experience. Our product lines show our strong commitment to value for money, something we know matters most to our customers than ever before, and our website will help us highlight the variety of affordable fashion options available in our stores in Spain,” Carlos Inacio, Primark’s general manager for Spain and Portugal, said in a statement.

Checking stock is very simple. When the desired piece is accessed, the size is selected and immediately the check availability tab is activated. The list will appear with several nearby stores and several badges: green (the item is available); red (item sold out or out of stock); gray (item not available), and orange (the product is running out).

Other novelties are the improvements in the images, with several plans and models to perfectly appreciate the fabric and print, or the detailed information on the composition and materials of the articles.

Thanks to this new website, customers can also have their “Wish List” to be able to save those favorite clothing items and accessories that have caught their attention. They will also be able to receive personalized email updates and save their purchasing preferences.
