The new edition of Survivors, the “most extreme” in the history of the format according to its promotions, still does not convince everyone. One week after this year’s participants jumped out of the helicopter to begin their adventure in Honduras, the Telecinco program has the mission of maintaining the interest of the viewers.
For this, a multitude of novelties have been announced, which would have the objective of making a difference with respect to past editions of the reality show. One of them was going to be able to see this Tuesday in the first No Man’s Land of the year, by the hand of Carlos Sobera and the presence of Laura Madrueño from Honduras.
The presenters of Survivors 2023 announced that the well-known salvation ceremony for one of the four nominated contestants of the week would take place that same day. In this way, Alma, Jaime, Ginés and Diego could choose to save themselves from possible expulsion this Thursday. This ceremony, according to the team itself, was going to take place in a completely “new” and “spectacular” way.
However, the format in which it has finally been developed was very familiar to the most loyal followers of the Mediaset program. Climbing onto some wooden boards over the water, the four nominees faced the decision of the audience through their votes on the application of Mitele. With the exception of the bran, Madrueño was cutting the ropes that held the tables on which each contestant was, who fell into the water.
This salvation ceremony took place in exactly the same way in the 2019 edition, as some followers of the program have recognized on social networks. Both the dilapidated wooden boat and the contestants on the boards and their subsequent fall into the water had already been seen then. “Same salvation ceremony from 2019. Despite the harsh criticism, many viewers subsequently celebrated the determination on the nominated entrants. Diego managed to save himself from expulsion for next Thursday, when it will be known if Jaime, Alma or Ginés should abandon the adventure of survival.
