On December 15, one of the last notable events in the world of the heart took place: the baptism of Ana Sandra. Ana Obregón’s granddaughter was the main protagonist of the day and received all the honors at the Nuestra Señora de Alcobendas church, the same place where her father Aless was buried in 2020. The ceremony has left many headlines and images in the last two weeks, including some that had not been seen until now.

Celia Vega-Penichet, Aless’s cousin and godmother of the baptism, shared through her Instagram profile a series of unpublished photographs, both with the baby and with Obregón and the godfather of the evening, Nacho Ansorena. The publication is complemented by a writing in English: “I will always be there to shake your hand and hug you tightly.” Since they were published on Christmas Day, the images have already received more than 2,800 likes and a multitude of reactions.

“Congratulations to you too Celia, it is clear that you are going to live up to the position in which you have been put in the life of little Ana Sandra and you are also going to surpass it,” shared a fan club of Ana Obregón and Aless. “The best grandmother and the super godmother Celia, and Celia is also beautiful, the best choice without a doubt Ana Obregón, congratulations to the three, the best team without a doubt,” another user explained about the ceremony.

The publication of these images comes in the midst of a controversy that has filled hours in social gatherings and a multitude of lines in the pages of magazines. The grandfather of the baptized woman, Alessandro Lequio, was absent from the ceremony as anticipated by the rumors that circulated days before. As a result of this non-appearance, the aristocrat and his former romantic partner have been involved in an exchange of cross statements in recent days.

“It’s not that he was invited, it’s that he is his grandfather and I would love for him to have been here. I have written to both of them, to María (his wife) and to him. It makes me very sad for Aless, I see it as a disdain for him,” Obregón explained in the baptism exclusive, published by ¡Hola! magazine. Lequio responded to these accusations some time later, through his position in the social club of Vamos a ver, Telecinco’s morning show presented by Joaquín Prat.

“It is true that he wrote to us and it is true that I did not answer because it was not necessary. In any case, seeing her so happy is something wonderful. She has every right in the world to do all the exclusives she wants. I hope I do many more, everyone knew that I was not going to be there, it is absurd to think about something that is more than clear,” she explained, making it clear that she is her grandfather under all the circumstances. “There is no doubt about that. But I prefer to stay out of it because I feel much better that way,” he added.
