The Charmed series, known internationally as Charmed, was a dramatic fantasy fiction created by Constance M. Burge and produced by Aaron Spelling that became a global success and swept audiences around the world.

The main plot of the series revolved around the Halliwell sisters: Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano). However, throughout its 8 seasons, all kinds of characters appeared that gave new dimensions to the story of spells, black magic, potions, confrontations, etc.

A few days ago, Holly Marie Combs (who played the role of Piper Halliwell) visited Shannen Doherty’s Let’s be clear podcast and made a confession that has caused a lot of talk on social networks.

The actress confessed that Doherty’s departure from the series that brought them world fame was caused by Alyssa Milano, who went to the upper echelons of the series with the premise of making the products decide between one or the other. As Combs explained, Milano threatened to create a bad work environment or abandon fiction if her partner didn’t leave, so the producers felt really cornered.

Additionally, Combs explained that Milano never felt good with the rest of the cast and that she invented a narrative of isolation and loneliness on set that made her job difficult and made her feel uncomfortable.

The guest on the radio program wanted to make it clear that there were tensions between the three, but that it was always behind the cameras and that it did not affect the rest of the team or their performance as actresses in any way. When Doherty’s character died in fiction, Combs notified her bosses that she would also be leaving the series, but they described her intentions as “blackmail” and threatened to report her.

”After that I lived a year repeating everything in my brain and really trying to find those moments [of supposed bad behavior on set], and I couldn’t find them,” said the podcast host, talking about her bad relationship with Milano.

”I don’t remember being mean to her on set. I remember an episode I directed where she did something over Christmas break and they asked me to work out some things with her and I had no problem. “She couldn’t have been more kind and understanding,” she said on the program. Finally, she acknowledged that if she had been more mature, she would have acted differently at the time: “She definitely would have sued and been honest about the situation because the rumors followed me anyway.”
