Celebrities who are fans of folklore and Andalusian culture gathered this past weekend in Seville to kick off a new edition of the April Fair. On Saturday the night of the ‘pescaíto’ and the ‘alumbrao’ took place, which marks the beginning of the famous flamenco festival.
As is usual every year, the Fair becomes a majestic fashion parade with extremely ornate looks of all colors. The most common celebrities are the ones who take the most risks with colors or silhouettes, although not always in the most successful way. These are some of the most risky dresses from the first days:
The presenter was crowned with one of the most striking outfits at the Sevillian fair. A dress by designer Beatriz Benítez in a striking Klein blue color in contrast with ruffles and a fluorescent green flower.
The presenter chose one of the most risky outfits of the day. A red polka dot dress on a white background by Rosa Pedroche in which she dispensed with a shawl and wore it without further ornamentation.
The Rocío Peralta dress chosen by content creator Maria García de Jaime did not convince her followers due to the extreme simplicity of the pattern.
Silva’s flamenco dress signed by Anguas Ruiz Diseño with embroidery on the sleeves and the ruffles on the skirt made the dress too busy.
The color combination of the Miabril costume chosen by Lourdes Montes did not convince her followers.
The Andalusian content creator dressed in a Sibilina Flamenca design that didn’t fit well on top.
The model chose a striking flamenco dress in black polka dots on a white background by Sevillian Carmen Acedo and combined it with a Klein blue mantilla by Mantones Faronda.
The Spanish aristocrat dared with a very ornate design of black polka dots with a light blue background from the Notelodigo Moda Flamenca brand.
