The mistake that Ana Obregón makes when taking her granddaughter in the cart

Ana García Obregón continues to be on everyone’s lips. Since the actress and presenter confirmed that her second maternity -thanks to the surrogacy process in the United States- was actually the welcome of her first granddaughter, Ana Sandra, there has been no place that has not discussed her situation.

As expected, dozens of photojournalists have moved to Miami and, finally, one of the photographers from Antonio Montero’s agency managed to immortalize the actress and her granddaughter on one of their walks, leaving some images that have left no one behind. indifferent; and with a small first-time failure included.

That is what Carla Bros, an expert in parenting that the Socialité program had, assures, who showed the small detail that initially would have gone unnoticed in the images: the biologist walks her little girl’s cart with the basket facing out, instead of from inward.

According to Bros, this could have serious consequences for the development of Ana Sandra. “Ana Obregón should rethink the way in which she walks her baby, since she is not very suitable,” says the expert, who highlights the importance of maternal supervision of newborns at all times.

“The supervision that you can give him if you see him is much better,” he insists, “You can prevent moments of suffocation that would be harmful to the child’s health.”

For the expert, the bond that is created between mother and child during these first walks is essential, so that “eye contact” causes it to become stronger. This, not to mention that it is much safer to see what is happening with the baby at all times.

“In case of impact with something on the ground, it can cause much more serious injuries than if you carry the child looking at you.”

Before putting the baby in the carrycot and starting to walk, you should always check that the carrycot is correctly positioned. Once inside and warm, experts recommend that the carrycot be kept inside, with the parents looking at the baby for safety reasons and to transmit confidence, since seeing their parents’ faces comforts them emotionally and helps them feel safe.

This relationship between parents and newborns are very beneficial, as they help develop social exchanges and encourage the baby to work on their emotional expressions.

In addition, safety will prevail: having the baby face to face in a stroller makes the head and neck of the little one avoid the impact. This has the same effect as having them rear-facing in a car seat for the first two years.
