Enrique Iglesias is not a big fan of weddings. Everyone knows that since he missed the links of his brother, Julio José, and his sister Ana Boyer. And at Tamara Falcó’s wedding it has not been different. The singer decided to stay at home and not attend the celebration that he joined his sister with Íñigo Onieva.
This Tuesday, Paloma Barrientos has explained how the messages between the brothers in this regard occurred. “Not just one, but there have been several talks about it,” she explained on The Ana Rosa program.
According to the journalist, Enrique gave her a beautiful centerpiece and apologized: “He didn’t say ‘I’m sorry’, he said: ‘You know how I am'”. Barrientos has also insisted that there is no bad feeling between the brothers. For this reason, days before and on the day of the wedding, there were calls from Enrique to Tamara to “wish her the best in the world.”
Tamara herself has spoken in Hello! about the absence of her brother. “I did not understand his motives, but I respect him. Although he can get on stage and sing in front of 50,000 people, Enrique is very shy… Also, my sister Ana told me that she had a concert in Los Angeles,” she explained.
It was only a few days before when Julio José Iglesias, on his arrival in Madrid for Tamara’s wedding, assured that “the whole family” would be at the wedding. That is why it was understood that Enrique Iglesias would also be among those attending the celebration, but in the end everything has gone as expected and he did not attend, since the singer is not very enthusiastic about weddings.
He has already missed the weddings of his brother Julio José and Ana Boyer. In the case of her little sister, few understood why she did not attend her wedding since it was held a few kilometers from her house: he lives in Miami and Ana married Fernando Verdasco on the Caribbean island of Mustique . But everyone understood that he missed the celebration a few weeks later, when it became known that he had been the father of twins just a few days after the link.
