On July 21, the long-awaited movie Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, hits theaters. Just a few days ago, the promotion of the film with which the Australian actress has given life to the doll was given the go-ahead through her most iconic looks.

The protagonist of the film has had the help of her stylist Andrew Mukamal to make an impact with her outfits that have the color pink as the main protagonist, like the one she wore in London this Wednesday. The Australian was inspired by the Enchanted Evening Barbie collector’s edition doll, from 1960, to leave you speechless with her Vivienne Westwood outfit.

Margot looked stunning in a strapless pink satin gown with a corseted bodice and draped skirt with a flower at the waist. She also accompanied her look with a white stole and opera gloves that added her glamorous touch, as well as her choker with three rows of pearls and transparent shoes.

Also in London, the actress was seen in a red satin minidress with a built-in corset by Dilara Findikoglu. A very suggestive look that she finished off with red mules and a bag and with which she made it clear that Barbie can also wear other colors.

In Los Angeles, Margot wore what has undoubtedly been one of her most spectacular looks. The 1960s were the inspiration for a bespoke design by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli. Exactly the same dress that the doll wore in that decade, with long black gloves, a striking necklace and a ponytail with which she imitated the iconic Barbie profile.

In Mexico, Robbie appeared on the red carpet in a look identical to Barbie Earring Magic. He wore a pink Balmain design with a corseted body and transparent sleeves and as accessories he wore the same belt and maxi earrings that the doll was wearing at the time.

For the press conference in Mexico, the Australian wore a design inspired by the Barbie Totally Hair doll that went on sale in 1992. The actress wore a minidress with a disco print by Emilio Pucci combined with pink Chanel accessories. She also drew her attention to her hair with extensions to recreate the doll’s hairstyle.

Versace was the firm chosen by Robbie for the premiere in Sydney, where he dazzled with a metallic minidress from the autumn 1994 collection that Claudia Schiffer had worn on the catwalk. The actress completed the look with transparent mules by Manolo Blahnik and jewelry by Jessica McCormack.
