Rubén Franco, a musical prodigy of only 11 years old and a native of Huelva, has conquered the hearts of the public and has taken home first place in the eighth edition of La Voz Kids, one of the most successful television programs on Antena 3.

The young artist, a member of Sebastián Yatra’s team, stood out among the finalists for his exceptional vocal talent interpreting What I would not give by Rocío Jurado, earning the public’s applause and vote at the exciting final gala this Saturday.

In this way, he managed to win a musical training scholarship valued at 10,000 euros and the possibility of recording a single with Universal Music, as well as being able to raise the physical trophy of the program.

Throughout the competition, the young artist, passionate about Easter and a fan of Star Wars, has had to overcome difficult moments. He began his run on the show as part of Pablo López’s team, who was replacing the absent David Bisbal. But during the rounds of battles, López decided that Rubén would not continue in his team.

It was at this critical point that Sebastián Yatra saw Rubén’s potential and decided to give him a second chance on the show. In the last round of the competition, Rubén defeated Manuela from the Aitana team, Lucía from the Bisbal team and Amanda from the Rosario team, sealing his victory in a night that will go down in the history books of “La Voz Kids”.

Yatra’s intuition not only benefited Rubén, who is preparing to take on the challenge of making his musical dreams come true thanks to the scholarship, but it also meant his first triumph as a coach at La Voz Kids, an important milestone that serves to close everything high his participation in the program, since it will not be in the ninth edition.
