Brigitte Nielsen is one of those names on the acting scene that does not arouse an immediate reaction for a while to this part. However, the Dane was one of the most sought-after actresses in front of and behind the cameras in the 80s. She debuted on screen alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Red Warrior and captivated fans of the Rocky franchise in the fourth part, with her interpretation by Ludmilla Vobet Drago.
With such a career behind her, Nielsen attended El Hormiguero to be the second guest of the week with Pablo Motos. And since her arrival, her complicity with the Requena presenter has surprised everyone present. Already in the first minutes of the broadcast, a good vibe has been noticed between the two, which has even left a striking compliment from the performer, which has even made Motos blush.
Nielsen’s arrival on the set has left an exchange of imaginary blows, emulating the duel between Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago in 1985. Immediately afterwards, the actress thanked her for her presence on the program: “First of all, I want to thank you for inviting me to the program. All my friends in Los Angeles have told me that if I came to Madrid or was in Spain, I had to go to the ‘El Hormiguero’ show, it is the only show in Spain that looks like Oprah Winfrey’s.”
The comparison has left Motos surprised, who in turn wanted to be grateful for the presence of the Dane on his program. “Among the things that one thinks will not happen to her in life, one of the things that I never thought is that she was going to be by your side. “I am one of your fans, of the Rocky saga,” said the man from Requena. Nielsen’s response has been surprising, when talking about Pablo’s boxing side after having seen his social networks.
The actress insisted that she was surprised and that she had “a special feeling towards boxers.” Even so, Motos insisted on being the smaller version of Rocky. Immediately afterwards, Brigitte noticed the muscularity of the presenter, who expressed doubts about her after she, years ago, claimed that she did not like muscular people. Sylvester Stallone’s ex-partner confirmed that, with age, she has acquired a change of heart.
This has been one of the many topics that have been discussed throughout the interview. Another of the most notable has been her opinion of Spain, where she has lived for 7 years and enjoys every day: “You have a more than wonderful country, with fantastic food, lovely people. I’ve met shorter people here in the short time I’ve been here than I have in Los Angeles for 20 years. It is a very hot country.”
