Luis Rubiales is already in Spain after the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation is being investigated for an alleged crime of corruption in several contracts during his time at the RFEF. News that broke when the former leader was temporarily residing in the Dominican Republic.

Now, La Sexta has shared images of Rubiales captured inside the plane, just before stepping on Spanish soil. Such is the expectation for his return that the passengers have not hesitated to immortalize the moment.

And they are not the only images that have been leaked. In another of them, he appears sitting in one of the rest areas of the airport next to his suitcases waiting to return. And if he wanted to go unnoticed, he has not succeeded.

Upon his arrival, Luis Rubiales had two possibilities. The first, that the UCO read his rights, communicated his accusation and released him until he was summoned. The second, that the agents transferred him to the Majadahonda courts.

Just a few minutes ago it was learned that the image of the former president of the RFEF leaving through the airport door was not going to happen. A Civil Guard agent informed Rubiales of his accusation on the same plane, and, after waiting for all the passengers to get off, he got into a black van.

Some information given by Ana Pastor, who was with him at that same moment, being a direct witness of what happened. And the La Sexta journalist did not hesitate to travel to the Dominican Republic to interview the former leader. By chance, they both ended up traveling on the same plane.

“The plane had 388 people, many of them Spanish, who recognized him. They took photos of him, recorded images… he was in seat 25L and the El Objective Team was in row 33, although he has been resting “I was only carrying a handbag,” Pastor said in a connection to Al Rojo Vivo. Such has been the flight that he has called it “like a movie.” And there have been four faintings during the journey.

All this occurs a few days after the judge ordered Rubiales’ home in Granada and the RFEF headquarters to be searched in search of contracts with possible irregularities. Likewise, last Monday, the temporary address of the former leader in the Dominican Republic was also registered.
