In Spain, March 19 is marked on the calendar as a very special day, in which Father’s Day is celebrated. However, these traditions may vary depending on the country, as is the case in the United Kingdom, where every March 19 it is a tradition to celebrate Mother’s Day.

King Carlos III wanted to take advantage of this day to honor his mother, who died on September 8. Queen Elizabeth II died of old age at Balmoral Castle, according to her death certificate, leaving behind 96 years of historical events and adventures.

The current king has wanted to remember his mother with a photograph of his childhood, in which we can see a small and smiling Carlos in the lap of Isabel II.

“For all the mothers wherever they are and for all those who miss their mothers today: we think of you and we wish you a happy Mother’s Day”, can be read in the Instagram post, published on the family’s account british royal.

Camila Parker-Bowles, the current queen consort of the United Kingdom, also wanted to take advantage of this day to remember her mother, Rosalind Cubbit, who died in 1994 due to osteoporosis at the age of 72.

He has done so in the same Instagram post, from the British royal family account, with a photograph in which he appears with his mother. Camila, who did not enter Buckingham on the right foot, always had a good relationship with Elizabeth II and after her death, she became the queen consort of all the British.
