More than a month has passed since Sálvame said goodbye forever to the screens in its daily edition. The last installment of the program produced by La fabrica de tele took place on June 23, a gap that continues to be covered during the summer by Así es la vida, with Sandra Barneda at the helm, and which will give way to Ana Rosa Quintana and TardeAR. since the month of September.
Due to the significant decline in audiences in the afternoon on Telecinco, the current evening program of the network is looking for a formula to reverse the bad data and recover the path of growth. One of the changes that Así es la vida has undergone is the greater incorporation of current news, which is complemented by the classic information from the heart.
However, the space that Cuarzo produces has not been able to avoid feeding on some of the faces known for appearing in Sálvame. This is the case of José Antonio Avilés, who has become a regular on Sandra Barneda’s program after going through Jorge Javier Vázquez’s team and other spaces such as Viva la vida; or ‘Baby’ Solano, a reporter from the Canary Islands.
This Thursday, Así es la vida surprised viewers with a new signing who has been part of the Sálvame staff since its inception in 2009. It is Antonio Montero, a classic talk show host on the program, who has ironized his return to the television just a month later.
“You have left the boat in Ibiza to come see us”, Sandra Barneda welcomed Montero. The collaborator has appreciated the trust placed in him in this new program: “Thank you very much for inviting me to the program, a pleasure. Good luck and we will do everything we can,” she replied to the presenter.
Barneda considered that Antonio Montero was getting “very deep” with his words, something to which the tertulian quickly took away iron. “No, it’s just that I’m glad to come and see this precious set and this momentary absence from TV, but the truth is that I’m impressed by coming back,” he stated, in clear reference to the end of Sálvame.
