Britney Spears’ revelation about the baby she was expecting with Justin Timberlake and which she ended up aborting is one of the bombshells of her new biographical book, The Woman In Me, in which she explains that she ended up deciding not to give birth.

These latest confessions from the queen of pop of the 2000s have led many fans to review old Britney songs to find references to this dark period of the American artist.

Britney’s followers have recently set their sights on the video for the song Everytime, which came out in 2003, months after the pop star decided to abort the baby she was expecting from Justin Timberlake.

The most curious thing is that in the video Britney sings the chorus while a woman gives birth in the background and there are some close-ups of a mother and her baby that could be explained by the painful abortion process that the singer suffered.

Furthermore, one of the verses of the song says the following: “And every time I see you in my dreams I see your face, you haunt me. I guess I need you, baby,” which was initially interpreted as a reference to a boyfriend, but could now actually be a newborn.

“I think you’re here. “It’s the only way I see clearly… What have I done?” says another of the verses that would refer to the baby that Britney Spears ultimately never had.
