The San Francisco de Borja Church, on the glamorous Serrano street in Madrid, celebrated a great flamenco wedding on Saturday, June 17. Carolina Trillo, the only daughter of the iconic singer Encarna Salazar from the Azúcar Moreno duo, married Javier Rojas in a ceremony marked by passion and joy.
Carolina, 30, entered the temple on the arm of her father, Mauricio Trillo, Encarna’s former representative and ex-husband. Wearing a dazzling dress with a square neckline and puffed sleeves from the firm Navascués, an updo and a beautiful bouquet of white flowers, the bride won all eyes.
The 30-year-old girlfriend is a lawyer at the Martínez-Echevarría law firm, after graduating in Law from the Complutense University. Although she is primarily known for being the daughter of Encarna Salazar, Carolina has also made a name for herself in fashion and television circles, having worked as a model at Madrid Fashion Week and appearing as an advocate on Survivientes in 2019.
Javier, her now husband, did not hide his happiness, declaring to the press that they are “very happy” for this important step in their lives. Naturally, he had to wait several minutes for her girlfriend to arrive, but she took advantage of them to take photos with the guests, including her mother-in-law.
The meeting of two emblematic musical duets, Azúcar Moreno and Los Chunguitos, was the backdrop for an afternoon full of flamenco. The photographs captured sincere smiles, resplendent under the Madrid sun, with Sara, from the Alazán group, completing the family image of five siblings.
The images of Toñi Salazar dancing on the sidewalk and of the brothers José and Juan singing flamenco pieces serve by themselves to illustrate the passion that characterized the celebration.
