The politician shares his name with the mythical doorman at 21 Desengaño Street, who was played by the famous actor Fernando Tejero.
In fact, it was Delgado himself who displayed his humor with this comparison with the fictional character and shared a user’s tweet, who had noticed this coincidence. “Let’s see… A little bit of please,” said the mayoral candidate. After this person asked him to win the elections as he was, the candidate has continued with the joke: “Yes, because there is no one who lives here.” A clear reference to the fiction that has won over all fans.
It is not the first time that the Más Madrid campaign has used Aquí no hay quien viva for one of its campaigns. The young section of the political party referred to Belén López Vázquez with a statement from this character in 2003: “I don’t have a job, I don’t have a house, I don’t have a boyfriend, I have nothing.” To this they added that “20 years later Belén continues to be our benchmark”.
