Diego Arrabal’s premiere on Antena 3 has been, to say the least, striking. The photographer, a former collaborator of Sálvame and Viva la vida, returned to television after a year’s absence, in which he continued to report on the world of the heart through his YouTube channel. Now the man from Marbella is back in front of the cameras in the main Mediaset competition, And now Sonsoles. But he hasn’t done it without taking a jab from his new boss.

The “paparazzo”, as he nicknames himself in his virtual space, made his debut in the latest edition of the afternoon magazine, last Monday. In his first appearance, he provided Sonsoles Ónega with several interesting details about the life of Carmen Martínez-Bordiu, who has not appeared in front of the cameras for some time. According to the debate, in information that would be confirmed hours later, she would have ended her relationship with the Australian former athlete Timothy McKeague.

The photographer intervened to express his opinion on the matter, but without assuring that the couple had broken up. “I find it very funny because of course, after what Isabel and Nacho have said, now you click on me here, and what do I say, if they have already said that they have broken up? I have personally been there, we have recorded the images and it is true that he has not been seen in that house in Sintra for a long time, ”he explained in his first dialogue.

Faced with this vicissitude in which the man from Marbella found himself, Sonsoles Ónega intervened forcefully: “Well, round and with handles, Diego Arrabal. Because here the information that is told on this set is always good. I’m telling you now so we can understand each other.” In this way, the presenter of the program wanted to make it clear to her new collaborator that the information they gave, with the support of her photographs, was true.

The dart did not go any further and Sonsoles said a cordial goodbye to the “paparazzo”. “Diego Arrabal, thank you very much for being with us this afternoon. The shirt is very nice. It’s cute for your premiere. And the bottom. He has a set… that’s nice. Thank you Diego, we keep in touch, ”he told him before closing the connection. Everything indicates that Arrabal’s participation will be in a dropper, but that they will give another face to the magazine’s debates.

This signing is in addition to those of three other journalists by Atresmedia, with the intention of reinforcing the programs of Sonsoles Ónega and Susanna Griso in view of the new stage that the channel will have to face in September. Beatriz Cortázar, Paloma García Pelayo and Cruz Morcillo have left Mediaset to join the communication group based in San Sebastián de los Reyes in the coming months, which will have fierce competition from those from Fuencarral this autumn.
